ALİ AKAY
Professor Ali Akay is is head of the Departement of Sociology at Mimar Sinan Fine art Univesity in Istanbul. He is additionally a visiting professor at The Humboldt University in Berlin, The Paris VIII University and at the I.N.H.A in Paris. He has published many articles and books on art-sociology and philosophy in Turkish, French, German and English magazines, books and catalogues.
Akay has organized and curated numerous art exhibitions in national and international galleries and museums. He is an art curator and art consultant of the Akbank Culture and Art Center.
