Philly Adams
Director, Saatchi Gallery, United Kingdom
Philly Adams is the Director of the Saatchi Gallery in London and works directly with the Saatchi Collection, liaising with the artists and galleries on new acquisitions and commissions. Previously managing an independent London gallery, P-inc, and later the Crane Kalman Gallery, she moved to specialize in contemporary art with the Saatchi Gallery in 1998. Since then she has worked on major exhibitions and accompanying publications drawn from the Collection including exhibits in Berlin, New York and St Petersburg.
Her most recent show as an independent curator was 2007’s ‘In Pieces: Christopher Landoni’, which brought together some of London’s most cutting edge and well-established artists.
