This year’s exhibition at the Barbican Centre was the European Art Prize’s most widely visited so far, with over 4,500 international visitors. Audiences embraced the chance to vote for their favourite artist and work during the exhibition, and online. Voting closed alongside the exhibition on the 20th June 2010. Your winner of the 1,000 euro public vote prize was Oliver Clegg  with his impressive work ‘And remember, no matter where you go, there you are.’

The artist wanted to send his “thanks to everyone who voted for my painting ‘there you are.’ It’s an honour to receive the public vote amongst such a strong selection of artists from across Europe.”’

For those of you in the Far East you will have the chance to see this work when it travels to the Busan Biennale from September to November 2010.
