After university, she joined the School of Fine Arts of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute (MGI) as Lecturer. Diagnosed with deuteranopia (Red-green colour blindness) during her teenage, she did not abandon her passion of Art and earned a scholarship to the ESADMM, France after being ranked 1st in her undergraduate studies. She is a Mauritian artist and her artworks are everything about women. Palvishee is also known for her ability to interpret a subject in a variety of styles; this being consistent with her mercurial and creative personality. In addition to her goal of inspiring students and other artists, her purpose is to entertain the viewer and to create a mood or feeling about the subject matter. Palvishee believes that there is always something new to learn and loves to see her students learn and take a chance with their painting sharing their unique life perspectives.
