Welcome to Charity!
One of The Sovereign Art Foundation’s core missions is to serve each SEN student with a holistic approach, which includes supporting their caregivers. Having received a generous donation from the Hong Kong Club Foundation, we were able to extend our ‘Care for the Caregivers’ art-based empowerment programme to more parents of children with SEN.
The programme launched in April and will run up until March 2022. In the past two months, we have already served 44 families through two art therapy support groups and expressive arts workshops. Our partnering community centres have reported that they are pleased to see the participation of families in person – after a prolonged period of social distancing. It has been fantastic to see how, in such a short timeframe, these caregivers are beginning to feel more empowered by newfound expressive arts skills.

“I made this massage chair as I need it so much. I am glad I joined these workshops as the art process makes me feel as satisfied as enjoying a massage.” – Parent
