With a Diploma from the Metafora Art Therapy School in Barcelona, Alessandra has a wealth of experience, including work with refugee children in Lisbon. She specialises in art programmes that foster confidence and communication through expressive arts.
The programme included six sessions, each offering unique experiences and varying levels of direction. Participants engaged in collaborative projects, creating large-scale art pieces, hand painting, and enjoying games and role-play to foster connections. Other activities such as pottery and vase painting also enriched their creative journeys and aimed to encourage self-expression.
A variety of art materials and ongoing supervision ensured a supportive environment for the children, promoting creativity and self-discovery. Proceeds from the workshop will help expand our initiatives in Portugal, with plans for new programmes in both Estremoz and Lisbon.
