GDPR Privacy Statement

This privacy notice is issued by The Sovereign Art Foundation and its related charities (“SAF”), whereby one or more of those charities may process your personal data which by definition is any information that can identify a living person. Purpose of processing your data

To enable SAF to maintain and run the foundation which includes but is not limited to actioning donations received from the donors and maintaining relationships with third party service providers.

Data processing is necessary for:

  1. Compliance with our legal obligation
  2. To perform a task(s) in the public interest

  • Information and documentation relating to identity, location
  • Information relating to financial details where applicable
  • Information may also be obtained from sources available in the public domain

From time to time and if you instruct us to do so, we may share your data with

  1. Other SAF and Sovereign Group offices
  2. Partners of SAF such as sponsors or art related institutions

We may disclose your personal information in some cases to governmental agencies or entities, regulatory authorities or other persons in line with any applicable law, regulations, court order or official request. For example, your data may be shared with these entities where SAF would be expected to cooperate in the event of a criminal investigation.

If you wish to withdraw your consent to process data you can do so in writing but such a withdrawal may affect the way in which we interact with you and/or further engage with you. Please note that we are contractually obliged to retain certain information in accordance with legislation.
