Family Workshop & Conscious Fashion

The ReWORN Programme

2:00 – 3:00pm | Children’s Textile Workshop

Led by multidisciplinary artist Sharker Nasrin, the session invites young participants to explore recycled fabrics, colour and texture while learning how clothing can be repaired, reimagined and transformed.

Children will experiment with visible mending, creative upcycling and playful textile techniques, creating wearable accessories or textile objects using recycled materials.

The workshop is designed to build confidence, spark imagination and introduce sustainability in an accessible and creative way.

3:30pm | Panel Discussion

A focused conversation with invited speakers working across fashion, sustainability and community building, exploring what conscious fashion looks like today.

The discussion will be moderated by Lisbon-based fashion production specialist and creative strategist Eliette Rosich, whose career spans global brands including Evisu, Ralph Lauren, Burberry and GAP.

4:30pm | Curated Fashion Show

A runway-style presentation featuring looks styled entirely from Dona Ajuda’s collection, showcasing the creative potential of second-hand fashion across all ages and genders.

5:00pm | Wine & Networking

The afternoon concludes with an informal gathering. Wine generously sponsored by Howard’s Folly.

About Our Partnership

Dona Ajuda is a cultural and environmental initiative housed in the former Mercado do Rato. The space hosts community events, workshops and exhibitions celebrating sustainability, collaboration and inclusive creativity.

Through our partnership, the Sovereign Art Foundation Portugal is able to deliver free monthly workshops that expand access to the arts for children, families and the wider community.

ReWORN reflects this shared commitment, bringing people together to rethink materials, creativity and community through practical action.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a thoughtful and inspiring afternoon.
