James Elliot-Square has already defied the odds — completing the world’s toughest endurance feat, the 7-7-7 World Marathon Challenge. Now, just months after recovering from a serious injury, he’s pushing himself to the absolute limit once again.

This time, James is racing to complete the North Pole Marathon — a full 26.2 miles (42.2 km) on just one metre of shifting ice, above the Arctic Ocean, at the very top of the world: 90° North Latitude. He’ll battle freezing winds, unpredictable terrain, and the dangers of open water and polar bears — all to raise funds for children in need.

By finishing this race, James will join the exclusive Grand Slam Marathon Club — becoming only the 164th person ever to run a marathon on all seven continents plus the North Pole.

But this challenge isn’t about the accolade. It’s about the mission.

James is running to raise urgent support for the Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) and its expressive arts programmes, which provide healing, hope, and a voice to vulnerable children around the world.

This is more than a marathon.

It’s resilience in motion.

It’s a battle against the elements — and for a cause that truly matters.

Every step James takes brings us closer to a world where every child has the tools to heal, express themselves, and thrive.

Join him. Support the mission. Be part of something extraordinary.
