Back in March, over 500 people gathered at Howard’s Folly for the Pig Parade, organised by Le Funky: A Celebration of Art and Community. The event brought together contemporary and graffiti artists from Portugal and across Europe, alongside local schoolchildren, to paint a colourful collection of full-size pigs and piglets.

Now, these vibrant sculptures will once again take over Estremoz’s main square for a special public showcase. It’s a brilliant moment to enjoy the creativity of the community, admire the details, and learn more about the project’s mission.

Each pig is a unique artwork – and they’re for sale! Every purchase supports expressive art workshops for children across Portugal, helping young people grow confidence and creativity through art.
