The Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize, Bahrain 2025 Gala Dinner held on in April at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay was a distinguished and memorable evening, marking another successful milestone for the initiative. The event was held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King of Bahrain for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. His Highness graciously attended the dinner on behalf of His Majesty the King. Also in attendance was the Speaker of the House of Representatives, representing the people of Bahrain.

The event received exceptional media coverage, appearing on the front pages of all major Bahraini newspapers, and featured by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and Bahrain TV. This widespread attention reflects the strong national support for the initiative and its meaningful social impact. The Gala Dinner was praised for its elegance and impact, reaffirming the Sovereign Art Foundation’s role in fostering creativity and compassion.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Bahrain Students Prize:

Raghad Al Khatib from International School of Choueifat (Category 1 – Lower Elementary), Hoor Moayed Abduljalil from Gifted Students Center – MOE (Category 2 – Upper Elementary), Aina Shahid from Al-Noor International School (Category 3 – Middle School), Sophia Noor from British School of Bahrain (Category 4 – High School), and Yasser Saeed Ahmed from University of Bahrain. Additionally, Shaikha Ahmed Al-Khalifa from SH.Hessa Girls School (Category 3) won the Public Vote Prize, receiving BHD250 for being the finalist artist with the most votes from the public. Well done to all winners and all the shortlisted artists for this year’s Prize!

The evening raised a phenomenal BHD 686,210 (USD 1.8 million) for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, supporting education and healthcare for 5,000 Bahraini orphans.
