Welcome to Charity!

The Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize seeks to inspire and reward young artists in the community. It aims to encourage cultural development and celebrate the importance of art in the education system by recognising the quality of artwork that can be produced by talented, young students.

Entrants must be enrolled at secondary school in London and be nominated by their teacher.

All submitted artworks are viewed online by a judging panel of local art professionals, who shortlist up to 20 Finalists. The Finalists’ works are exhibited, and judges attend for a second round of voting, in person, to select their winners. In parallel, the public are invited to vote on their favourite piece (online and at the exhibitions). Prizes are awarded to the winning artists and their schools.

  Student Wins School Wins
Judges’ Prize £800 £2000
Public Prize £400 £1000

The final 20 artworks can also be entered into a silent auction (with permission from the artist), proceeds of which are divided, 50:50, between the artists and the Sovereign Art Foundation’s charitable activities.

Entry is from 6 July – 16 October.
