Beautiful Resistance is part of First Editions à mesa, a series of intimate dinners presented by Sovereign Art Foundation, each shaped by the art, from the venue and table setting to the dress code.
Join us at Cícero in Lisbon’s Chiado for an evening inspired by selected works by finalists of the 2026 Sovereign Portuguese Art Prize. Through art, dinner and conversation, we explore voice, identity, memory and resilience, bringing new perspectives into dialogue.

DRESS CODE
Eveningwear in terracotta, ochre, olive, deep blue or warm cream. Choose one colour or combine a few, in a dress, suit, separates or accessories.
ART WITH PURPOSE
All profits from this dinner support Sovereign Art Foundation’s expressive arts programmes for children in Portugal, creating space for creativity, connection and emotional wellbeing.
The featured artworks are also available to purchase, with sales supporting both the artists and these programmes.
